Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you.. Matthew 28:19-20.
Fulfilling the Great Commission is one of Immanuel Baptist Church’s biggest priorities. Our members are given multiple opportunities throughout the week to fulfill this Christian duty. One of these opportunities is our Acts 20:20 Club. This club is a weekly assembly for our members to meet together and go out to present the Gospel to others.
The Acts 20:20 Club meets every Saturday morning at Immanuel at 9:30am, and it begins with a general assembly. Then, the members of the club pair into smaller groups and travel to the designated areas. Every member is given a partner at the beginning of the day. These two people work together by knocking on doors and inviting people to church for the first time and/or by following up with people who have already visited our church or have expressed an interest in visiting.
Not only does this club provide opportunities for Christians to give the Gospel and help people get into church, it is also a perfect training opportunity for new Christians who wish to learn how to fulfill the Great Commission. Experienced Christians will teach newer Christians what to say, and they will provide the newer Christians with necessary guidance. Training includes everything from learning how to give a stranger an invitation or a pamphlet, all the way to learning how to help people get into church and change their lives forever.
The Acts 20:20 Club is perfect for anyone who wishes to fulfill their duty as a Christian to teach others to live for Christ. Do not miss this exciting time to help advance the cause of Christ! The harvest truly is plenteous!

Our bus ministry is designed to meet the needs of our community. Unfortunately, in our day and time, many parents must work on Sundays. Therefore, we offer a service that will allow you to go to work and still get your children to church. For more information on the areas that our buses cover, please contact our church office.
"Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen." Matthew 28:19-20
Immanuel Baptist Church strongly believes in church missions. The Word of God clearly commands the church to spread the Gospel of Christ to every nation. Through the support of many missionaries around the world, we are able to see the ministry of our church influence a countless number of lives for Christ. This global mission reemphasizes the Biblical teaching regarding the importance of every soul: "The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance." 2 Peter 3:9.
The music of Immanuel Baptist Church is Bible-based, Christ-honoring, traditional, and conservative. We are a church that loves to sing the great old hymns of the faith.
At Immanuel, we consider music to be an excellent opportunity to prepare our hearts to receive what the Lord has for us in each service. The Lord has blessed us with many talented musicians. Every service, we enjoy a variety of soloists, duets, trios, quartets, ensembles, instrumentalists, and a powerful choir.
We have opportunities in music (vocal and instrumental) for all ages. We have also been blessed to record several projects which we have available for purchase in our bookstore. If you are interested in becoming a part of the music department of our church, please contact Dr. Robbie Stanley.
Nursing Home Ministry
Services are held every Sunday afternoon at many local nursing homes. These often forgotten people are shown love as well as given the Gospel on a weekly basis. This is a great opportunity to share your life with others who many have dismissed.
Pastor’s Prayer Partners
No matter what trials you are facing in life or what struggles you may go through, prayer is the answer. At Immanuel Baptist Church we believe the answers to everything we need can be found through prayer. We want to be a church that always places a strong emphasis on prayer. To help us accomplish this, we have established the Pastor's Prayer Partners ministry.
The Pastor’s Prayer Partners are a group of dedicated men who gather together on Monday nights at 7pm to assist the Pastor and staff in praying for requests submitted by the members of the church. Prayer requests are called into the office each Monday by 2:00 PM. From these calls, a list is made and handed out at the weekly meeting. These requests are also available at the Welcome Station for others who can pray at other times.
The men meet to briefly discuss each prayer request on the list. Other names or requests may be added at this time. The men then divide into groups of two or three, find a place in the chapel or the auditorium, and pray until each name or prayer request is brought before the Lord.
The Pastor’s Prayer Partners believe very strongly that God is a prayer-hearing God and that He does answer prayer. Prayer is an essential part of a Christian’s life. If you would like to be part of this ministry, please contact Dr. Jimmy Hudson.
