Deaf Ministry

Interpreted Services and the Helping Hands Bible Class

Our deaf ministry is unique in that our deaf members are encouraged to participate actively in our church.

All services and special events are interpreted for the deaf.

What is the Helping Hands Bible Class?

The Helping Hands Bible Class is designed to meet the needs of the Deaf community in every age and stage of life. Taught by our deaf pastor Lauren Jackson, this class is a place for good Christian fellowship in which we offer a helping hand to one another. The goal of the class is to study the Bible and to encourage one another.

Each month we meet for an activity that is a great time of fun and fellowship.

When and Where Does the Class Meet?

The Helping Hands Bible Class meets every Sunday at 9:30 AM. We meet at Immanuel Baptist Church in Jacksonville, Florida. Immanuel Baptist Church is located at the intersection of Normandy Boulevard and the new First Coast Expressway, making it quick and easy to come from anywhere in Jacksonville or any of the neighboring towns.

I Missed A Service. Can I Watch The Sermon Online?

Absolutely! All of our services, both hearing & deaf, are live-streamed and recorded to watch at anytime.
