The Victory Bible Class meets every Sunday morning at 9:30 in the main auditorium of the Immanuel Baptist Church. The class is designed to meet the needs of adults of every age and stage of life. The class verse is I Corinthians 15:57, But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. The goal of the Victory Bible Class is to study the Bible and encourage one another so we might have victory in our life.

Who attends the Victory Bible Class? Our class members and attenders are adults from every walk of life. Every Sunday adults from all over the Greater Jacksonville area drive from Clay, Duval, Baker, and Nassau Counties.

Are there opportunities for fellowship? Yes. There is fellowship before and after class on a weekly basis. Within the class, there are planned fellowships and activities for ladies, men, singles, seniors, and married couples.

Do I have to be a member of the church to attend? No. You do not have to be a member of the church to attend. Anyone who wishes to gain a better understanding of the Bible is welcome to attend.

What is the current Bible Study? The current study is entitled “Posses the Land”. This is a systematic study through the book of Deuteronomy. This study shows how God’s blessings can be obtained in every area of our lives by following God’s commands.

Who teaches the class? The class is taught by Pastor Greg Neal. Pastor Neal is a student of the Bible with a desire to teach its Truths to others. With more than a dozen printed works and decades of experience Pastor Neal uses each lesson to present Bible Truths so they are easily applied to life.

What if I need interpretation through sign language?
Along with every service being interpreted, the Victory Bible Class gives the Deaf and hard of hearing a place where they can fellowship and learn great Bible truths!

Do I have to attend any other services to attend? No. While you are invited to all other scheduled services you are not required to attend to be a part of the Victory Bible Class. 

What if I am interested but not sure if I will or can attend? While you work out the details we encourage you to enroll in the class. 

Why enroll if I am not sure I will or can attend? Once you enroll you will receive a packet of information about the Victory Bible Class. Along with the information you will get a gift of the mini-book “How to Have Victory in Your Life. This packet of information is designed to give you more information about the class as well as be a blessing to you.

Are there classes for my children? Yes! There are organized classes taught by trained teachers for children of every age from the nursery to teens. All children’s classes are taught the same lesson as you but on their level. This allows each parent to not only know what their child is taught but gives the parent the opportunity to discuss with their child.

Children's Classes

For Babies and Toddlers

Who's it for?  Newborn through age three.

Nursery is provided beginning with newborn babies through three years old. The children will be well cared for by trained members of the church. They will enjoy play and snack time.

For Beginners

Who’s it for? Four and five years old

This class is designed to share the Word of God with the children at a young age in order for them to begin to know, love, and want to follow God. The children will enjoy songs, coloring, and Bible lessons.

Elementary & Teens

For Elementary

Who’s it for? First through sixth grades.

The Elementary Sunday school classes are designed for students going into first through sixth grades. This department is separated into four classes, each geared to the age group of its members. The elementary students will receive the teaching of the Word of God, participate in singing, and play games to help them grow in their specific stage of life.

For Teens

Who’s it for?  Seventh through twelfth grades

The Teens Sunday school classes are designed for students going into the seventh through twelve grades. This department is separated into four classes, each geared towards the needs of its individual members. The teens will experience the teaching of the Word of God in a friendly atmosphere, as well participating in special activities throughout the year.
